Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for you to become a leader on an innovation team passionate about improving quality, patient access & satisfaction, and operational efficiency in our retail pharmacies. Pharmacy Innovation Analytics Advisor will be vital contributor to a team focused on translating identified opportunities to improve financial outcomes, customer service and efficiency into new programs, tools and processes. This role will provide the opportunity to use big data to support the execution of a multi-year roadmap that is needed in reducing healthcare costs, improving patient satisfaction and access to care, and driving operational efficiency.You will be challenged to support sustainable and effective programs that focus on keeping medications affordable for our customers while balancing processes that are easy for pharmacy colleagues to execute, ultimately achieving favorable financial performance at a corporate level. Using deep analytical insights as well as forecasts, you will provide evidence and recommend strategies that improve prescription quality and reduce disruption to key process and fulfillment areas.Your typical day here could include: Building detailed business cases that determine the value and risks associated with new processes and refinement of current processes Independently designing complex analyses using large (and sometimes incomplete or imperfect) datasets, and drawing conclusions from those analyses to support business decisions Connecting with partners throughout the enterprise to understand needs, align on solutions, or brainstorm to solve difficult problems Developing and monitoring key success criteria to measure process execution, customer service and financial performance Structuring effective pilots including identifying pilot locations, developing measurement criteria, establishing and tracking to achievements, and interpreting findings Preparing professional materials and presentations in the form of a “story” which concisely summarizes findings and provides specific recommendations for next stepsRequired Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Analytics, Operations, Process Improvement, or Engineering OR 2+ year of experience post MBA OR 2+ years of consulting experience 1+ years of experience assessing and building a business case to identify business trends and areas of opportunity (e.g., growth, cost savings, etc.) 1+ year of proven ability to lead project work, including meeting achievements, analyzing data, crafting strategy, setting expectations, and delivering high quality products 1+ year of SQL experiencePreferred Qualifications Experience in developing strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analysis and/or measure success Experience conducting analytics specifically using Teradata SQL and Tableau Knowledge of US Healthcare landscape and pharmacy sector preferred but not requiredEducationBachelor's degreeBusiness OverviewIt’s a new day in health care.Combining CVS Health and Aetna was a transformative moment for our company and our industry, establishing CVS Health as the nation’s premier health innovation company.
