Job DescriptionThe Director, Program Management will be part of the Enterprise Modernization team and will have responsibility for project management oversight for a portfolio of Enterprise Service Delivery initiatives.Initiatives may span various corporate functions (HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Compliance) as well as business segments. This will include the planning, coordination, development, and implementation of complex, global programs. Responsibilities will include prioritizing work, resources, and time for a large team of resources. The leader will ensure the end state of the project and/or business operations meets business objective(s) and that all deliverables and due dates are met. This is a highly collaborative effort, requiring management of relationships with leaders, executives, and senior executives across the business segments and functional areas.Leaders within Enterprise Modernization will demonstrate a proven ability to lead and execute within complex organizations and a willingness to quickly develop a broad understanding of the relevant health care delivery functions, levers to manage labor and operations cost management practices, and emerging trends and capabilities.

Strategic thought leadership

Develop and implement a program plan that achieves the business financial goals within the allotted time. Partners closely with opportunity leads, business analysts, project leads/PMs, and third-party advisors Build a foundational, cross-business, and cross-function set of knowledge. Identifies gaps and recommends enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization. Responsible for fiscal management including the development and management of budget. Deliver on significant process efficiencies and expense reductions to achieve overall goals.

Leadership:

Proactively leads a team of Business Analysts, project managers and/or dotted line business team members. Sets direction of the program, overseeing the creation of initiative-level project plans, managing the overall timeline, identifying key milestones and additional resources needed on selected project(s). Mentors more junior resources and/or manages others that have a dotted-line association.

Stakeholder management:

Influence stakeholders to ensure assigned tasks are completed on-time and with an adequate degree of quality. Carefully balances the successful delivery of tasks with maintaining relationships with external teams responsible to complete the tasks. Group facilitation/presentations to influence various executive-level internal and external parties (e.g., vendor management). Solicit and evaluate internal and external customer feedback to enhance continuous quality improvement.

Communication:

Tracks progress and communicates project(s) status on a regular basis to all impacted parties. Acts as an advocate for change may require influencing others to see the value, including managing stakeholder relationships and articulating the strategic view to ensure project alignment. Provide internal status updates to program leadership and content for senior leader meetings. Builds implementation communication requirements to ensure all impacted parties are informed of next steps for completion.Required Qualifications 15+ years business experience, preferably working in large, complex organizations.Preferred Qualifications Excellent written and verbal/interpersonal communications skills. Ability to lead, motivate/mentor, communicate, and generally interact with people in a positive way. Professional, energetic and positive attitude. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze results, plan for the future, make good decisions, and take responsibility. Experience in business case development. Willingness to travel to meet business needs. Strong business acumen. Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of management (from team leaders to senior-executives). Experience in transition management Experience setting up onshore and global shared services functions, managing global operations teams Experience conducting business in a global setting Proven ability to manage and execute large programs.
