Job Description
- Improve, test and maintain existing features
- Develop, test and launch new features
- Work closely with other devs, business and marketing team to prioritize and plan new features
- Worked on all three layers of the MVC
- Implement a TDD approach to ensure quality
- Investigateslow performance and optimizing queries to ensure speed
- Prepare for theimplementation ofReact by furtheradvancinginto a component first approach
- Improve infrastructure architecture to support growth
Qualifications
- You have 3+ years experience building scalable systems and applications using languages like Ruby
- You are experienced with at least one component-based frontend framework like React
- You are experienced with PostgreSQL
- You know how to test software on different levels: unit, integrationand E2E
- You areable to analyse metrics about system health and performance
- You understand lean and agile practices
- You have effective communication and interpersonal skills
- You can professionally communicatein written and spoken English and Spanish
- Ideally an understanding of website optimisation and SEO principles
- You love anopen, inclusive culture that supports learning and encourages collaboration
- You like to cooperate with product and business stakeholders building together a trust working environment
- You have experience managing a team
