Job Description

Our team in Asia is facing exciting growth, and we are looking for passionate consultants to join our team. We are currently looking for a Manager to join our CIB work stream to provide strategic and operational regulatory advisory for our clients.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Ideally for this role, you will have previous project experience and exposure within CIB industry around on the following topics:

  • Corporate Banking and Financing experience
  • Process improvement and automation

As a Manager, you will help to build our expertise and guarantee the quality of delivery to ensure market-leading practices for our Hong Kong office, taking into account the global nature of our organisation and our clients. This will involve:

  • As part of the Corporate & Investment Banking Practice, deliver project work across a range of clients
  • Play a key role in business developmentby contributing to the definition of needs and participating in commercial activities (development of pitches, responses to RFP, etc.)
  • Participate in the recruitment efforts to continually grow the team, and mentor and contribute to the career development of team members
  • Working closely with other Sia Partners’ offices and leverage our global network to take part in cross-selling initiatives and widely share our knowledge
  • Track the latest developments, news and activities across the financial services industry and contribute to the development of the Sia Partners brand in Asia (publication of articles, blogs, networking, event speaker).
  • Support in the publication activities (sector blogs, articles, insights, etc.)
  • Working closely with our other offices and leverage our global network to take part to cross-selling initiatives and widely share our knowledge

Qualifications

  • Around 6 to 8 years of experience, including at least 3 in management consulting.

    (Those with less experience may be considered for a more junior position)

  • At least Bachelor or equivalent degree in relevant area of study (Economics, Business, Finance) from top universities and/or business schools
  • Very strong Project Management experience and ability to manage complex projects.
  • Ability to manage and convince Senior Business Stakeholders
  • Possess the ability to drive relevant business decisions, accelerate projects delivery and mitigate, deter and escalate risks and issues efficiently.
  • Experience working with IT on implementation and execution (e.g. familiarity with SDLC) highly beneficial.
  • Able to work well autonomously as well as in a team. Highly analytical and possess good entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Fluency in English is essential, with knowledge of Cantonese and/or Mandarin highly advantageous.
