Superior Energy Solutions, based in Swansea, MA is seeking a weatherization / insulation installer. The installer will work as a member of a crew to efficiently and effectively complete all project duties assigned by the crew chief.
The weatherization installer will be responsible for providing weatherizing improvements to make building structures more energy efficient in new construction and existing homes. Improvements will include, but are not limited to: installing blown-in cellulose, fiberglass, foam air sealing, propavents, vapor barrier, and rigid foam board. The position will also require completing work on siding, roofing, sheet-rocking and basic carpentry.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Must be able to work in tight confined spaces such as kneewalls, attics and crawlspaces.
Must be able to work in different extreme temperatures.
Must be comfortable working on ladders to install required roof ventilation and wall insulation.
Must be able to install insulation materials.
Must be able to ensure compliance with industry standards, OSHA and other safety work practices.
Must be dependable and responsible.
Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle.
Must have basic hand tools and OSHA approved boots.
Must be able to use, clean and maintain tools and equipment.
Compensation:
Laborers $14 - $16 per hour and Experienced & Certified Tech's/installers $16 - $20 per hour with possibility of growth.
This is a full time position.
