DescriptionIf you are a passionate practitioner of machine learning and artificial intelligence who does not shy away from using the latest tools and technology in the cloud, to push the boundaries of model building targeting the best in class industry-leading capabilities, this is the right job for you. You are comfortable imagining a world where it takes six days or less versus six months to build, train, test, iterate, explain and deploy models into production working with both internal and external stakeholders. You take immense pride in your everyday work but have zero egos taking feedback and bringing teammates along the journey and you can balance model accuracy with human intuition and common sense. Primary responsibilities include:

Driving transformation using machine learning, either working individually or in small groups.

Rolling up your sleeves and enabling the model building process from end-to-end managing stakeholders, presenting the results and helping the team grow in an agile organization.

QualificationsRequired Skills/Experience:

4 or more years of experience working in a data environment

At least 2 years of experience in Python, Scala or R

Demonstrated quick learner, highly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and storytelling skills

Enjoys solving challenging problems in a fast-paced environment and participating in Kaggle competitions

Proven experience working on multiple projects involving programming and building predictive models using R or Python

Experience building and deploying machine learning algorithms such as Random Forest, Gradient Boosting and Neural Networks into production

Experience supporting multiple projects using Natural Language Processing and Text Analytics

Experience working in distributed computing technology such as HDFS, Spark MLib, and Mapreduce

Hand on experience with Amazon AWS machine learning technologies such as Amazon SageMaker, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Amazon Transcribe, Amazon Textract

Experience working with relational databases and data warehouse such as Amazon Redshift

Education, Certifications, and Other Professional Credentials:

Bachelors or Masters in computer science and or in a field such as statistics, mathematics, econometrics from a top-tier institution with a strong academic track record

Certifications in AWS and machine learning are preferred
