Your qualitative and quantitative contributions will play an integral role in helping the public relations team position FM Global both as an industry leader globally, as well as an employer of choice locally.At FM Global, you can expect to develop confidence and marketable skills by engaging in or assisting with many of the following activities:
Preparing news releases, bylined articles, award nominations, fact sheets, executive biographies;
Enhancing the company’s social media presence, corporate Web site, corporate Intranet;
Participating in strategy meetings, conference calls, media interviews;
Monitoring earned media coverage using the latest research tools;
Publishing the company’s quarterly media coverage report;
Supporting special events and site tours;

QualificationsTo be considered for FM Global’s public relations Summer internship, you must:
Plan to pursue a career in public relations;
Major in public relations, communications, English, journalism or marketing;
Be in between junior and senior year in college
Maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher;
Involvement with your school’s PRSSA chapter is a plus
Hours are flexible and depend on the student’s class schedule, course requirements (if applicable) and availability. The FM Global public relations internship is offered at the company’s corporate offices in Johnston, R.I.
