DescriptionResponsibilities: The Collectn Recvry Sr Spec
may be required to support the several departments within LSO. This may
include monetary transactions, reporting, specialized letters, recovery account
set up, account maintenance, research, and may assume additional tasks as
requested by management. Primary responsibilities
include:
Research
– Utilizes internal bank tools and websites to help facilitate responses
to customer correspondence.
Specialized
Letters - Manually review and generate letters that may require
calculations and accurately inputting customer data in order to generate
the required letters.
Recovery
Account Setup - Manually load customer account data to the Recovery
Management System (RMS) for accounts that may not have loaded according to
the normal account process.
Account
Maintenance – Manually update accounts to ensure proper treatment and
monitoring of interest and fees.
Reporting
– Manually retrieving, updating and maintaining departmental reporting
functionalities that are utilized by all levels within the department.
QualificationsQualifications: Required Skills/Experience:
Highly Organized and Detail Oriented
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Self-directed with excellent time management skills
1-3 years of experience with reconciliations and general ledger balancing
1-3 years experience working in an operations environment.
Possess and apply strong analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy
Ability to plan and prioritize workload
Requires ability to provide backup support in all aspects to staff.
Ability to multi-task and function efficiently in high volume, fast paced, deadline oriented environment.
Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel
May participate and help shape process improvement efforts for the department.
May assist in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and training materials to maximize efficiency.
System knowledge of Oracle and Checkfree is a plus.
May manage/participate in small projects requiring coordination with other teams and may perform other such duties as assigned including trouble shooting operational issues.
Collect, review and analyze data and/or documentation to ensure compliance with department SLAs, policies, procedures, and/or regulatory and risk requirements.

Mainframe experience: KO/RMS/ALS/IMPACS
Oracle experience
Educational, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
High School or Equivalent required, Associate Degree preferred
