Job DescriptionThis position will report to a Senior Manager, Corporate Environmental. Primary responsibilities include environmental regulatory compliance and monitoring for all CVS Health facilities. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the development and implementation of environmental compliance programs for all CVS Health facilities. Working with a Manager, the Environmental Specialist position will interact with business partners to address compliance needs. This position will assist in the research of regulatory requirements and initiate steps to determine applicability under the supervision of a manager. The Environmental Specialist will assist the Senior Manager in managing the internal task management application for regulatory required actions. The Environmental Specialist will have general knowledge of major federal environmental regulations. This Specialist position will monitor regulatory notices, participate in program enhancements, and assist a Manager in responding to agencies. As needed, this position will support environmental programs by providing field assistance to all CVS Health facilities under the supervision of a Manager.Required Qualifications1+ years of related environmental management experience, which may include academic studies.Preferred QualificationsExperience working on environmental matters in a retail setting is desired.Exposure to issues related to regulatory reporting/permitting and/or hazardous waste, tank, and air regulations is desired but not required.Ability to interpret complex environmental regulations.
