Family-owned and operated construction, landscaping and maintenance company now accepting applications for a Yard and Warehouse Manager in Manchester, Maryland. The primary responsibilities of this job include managing all inventory levels of the yard, organizing and delivering to jobs throughout the day as needed by crews, and loading crews with the proper materials and equipment needed for the days' work. We are looking for a strong, trustworthy leader who understands the importance of efficiency while maintaining a focus on employee engagement, quality and safety. A ideal candidate would possess a highly-organized and reliable skill set and personality. This position requires workday flexibility. Responsibilities:
-Coordinating and scheduling equipment and material deliveries
-Maintain yard housekeeping, organization and layout, including closing the warehouse and yard gate in the evening
-Storing and tracking specialty orders
-Manage rental equipment returns
-Daily meetings with operation manager to discuss yard operations
-Inspect all equipment entering and leaving the yard, recording any damages
-Maintain fuel logs
Requirements:
-Valid driver's license with no restrictions
-Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
-Professional communication skills and ability to work with team members of all levels
-Bilingual Spanish/English highly preferred
Physical Requirements:
-Employee must be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
