Location: Yardley, PA Description: Our client is currently seeking a Cloud Security Engineer. contract to hire. W-2 only. No C2C or vendor candidates
This job will have the following responsibilities: As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will lead and/or participate in the design and implementation of cloud security controls and the build out of ongoing security operational measures within environment. You will help implement a secure cloud migration to Microsoft Azure while establishing and maintaining a high level of security compliance. Your position will involve technical implementation and direct interface with various stakeholders. Your work has a material effect on data safety and security, which impacts competitive advantage and reputation. The Cloud Security Engineer must be able to build reusable security configurations and implement best practices for Microsoft Azure. Activities will include the setup of security processes for scanning, vulnerability or security configuration management assessments, logging, and SOC alerts or notifications. Provide expertise in cloud-related security operations including: engineering, automation, compliance, test and evaluation, security accreditation, configuration of Identify and Access Management in the cloud, and patching and threat mitigation. Qualifications & Requirements:Direct Azure cloud security implementation experience Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and security Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions Experience implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management or related technologies Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measures Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including architectural diagrams and flows, strong business acumen and a commercial outlook Prior experience managing ongoing security operations Network infrastructure skills including but not limited to configuring and managing firewalls, cloud networks, routing, DNS, VPN, LDAP, Active Directory Security engineering experience of 6+ years Overall IT experience in a technical, hands-on capacity of 10+ years Azure certification preferred (Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate) Strong preference for prior experience with implementing Azure security in an on-premise to Azure migrationContact: This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
