Full Time Dental Assistant with X-Ray certifications needed for an established and growing dental practice in West Hazleton.
We are seeking a candidate that is an energetic, patient-focused individual, who can assist our Dentists during patient appointments, sterilize and prepare instruments and equipment prior to patient appointments.
The ideal candidate for this position has experience working with patients of all ages.
Full Time position. 401K and health insurance available.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work as a team member within a clinical environment
Prepare examination and surgical rooms by sterilizing instruments and moving equipment into place
Comprehensive understanding of dental instruments and ability to follow a full range of dental clinical procedures and protocols
Knowledge of patient evaluation and triage procedures
Knowledge of radiation safety procedures, standards, and protocols
Ability to develop and process dental radiographs
Exceptional people skills
Strong knowledge of computer programs and patient support technology is a plus
Must have appropriate certifications, references, and the ability to work with children.
