Part-Time Resource Coach (Temporary, Grant-Funded)

Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Part-Time Resource Coach (Temporary, Grant-Funded) position. The Part-Time Resource Coach is to build upon the work of theStudentWellness Inclusion Model. This position will engage with students on a daily basis; identify barriers to student retention and completion, both personal and academic, propose solutions, and help students access the appropriate campus and community resources to support student retention. The Part-time Resource Coach is responsible for providing holistic case management services and intensive and targeted supportin support of the College's efforts to increase student persistence, retention, and completionThis position is responsible for promoting student wellness, using a coaching approach to assist students through in-person meetings, emails, texts, phone calls, and video chats. This position will also facilitate informational sessions and workshops for students as well as faculty and staff about available college and community resources. This role will help to facilitate peer support groups within the Wellness Center. Delivering a program that responds to the College's guiding belief that every student can receive what they need to be successful; the Part-time Resource Coach reduces barriers for students who are seeking and participating in services that promote their mental and physical wellness.
