Property Maintenance (summer or permanent) (Bangor, PA)

Job Summary:

The Property Mechanic is responsible for assisting property personnel to ensure all BioSpectra properties are in a good and safe condition at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Assist equipment operator, carpenters, and other skilled labor

 Prep working site by cleaning obstacles and hazards

 Load or unload materials as needed

 Shovel, rake, dig

 Performs outside property maintenance, landscaping, mowing and snow removal

 Follow instructions from supervisors/managers

 Assist craft/specialized workers as needed

 Read to learn from on-the-job training when necessary

 Perform site clean-up

 Assist with building maintenance as needed.

 Maintains good housekeeping practices

 Other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate by management

 Ability to perform physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks

 Ability to work in all weather

 Ability to safely operate riding mowers/weed whackers/snow blower

 Understanding of and willingness to abide by all safety protocols

 Demonstrate mechanical aptitude to work with various tools and machines

 Good math skills for measuring and cutting

 Detail Oriented

 Ability to learn cGMP and Safety programs.
