The University of Pittsburgh Physicians Heart and Vascular Institute and the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine are recruiting a cardiac surgeon to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will practice as a cardiac surgeon in a dual capacity within the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute HVI and the University of Pittsburgh Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery including clinical, research, and teaching responsibilities. He/she will participate in outreach efforts for the HVI, expanding inpatient and outpatient activities at locations within the HVI service area. As a faculty member, the successful candidate will actively participate in the research and educational mission of the HVI.
