Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst - Compliance and Remediation within the Comcast Credit, Collections and Fraud organization will be responsible for leveraging data analytics to identify instances and patterns of fraudulent activity and conducting procedures associated with investigations pertaining to the misappropriation of cable assets by third-party individuals and criminal organizations. The Senior Analyst will interface with both internal and external parties to build operational analytics and assist with investigations. Further, the Senior Analyst will be responsible for evaluating business process operations and internal controls to identify root cause issues and recommending effective remediating solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

- Partners with the appropriate internal organizations to gain access to data.

- Extracts, manipulates, visualizes, and analyzes accurate, relevant, timely, and cohesive analytics for identified risk areas.

- Supports the development of enhanced monitoring capabilities in all sales channels to proactively detect potential theft or fraudulent activity.

- Identifies fraud risk areas to the business and required monitoring analytics.

- Analyzes data to identify instances and patterns of potentially fraudulent activity and if identified risk areas of the businesses are conducting operations in accordance with established policies/procedures.

- Effectively communicates their findings from the data analysis both orally and in writing through the preparation of detailed reports.

- Assists with investigations into third-parties (unrelated to Comcast) utilizing external and internal resources.

- Supports Sr. Manager across multiple investigations.

- Effectively partners with the Cable Security and Compliance organizations in executing external investigative responsibilities.

- Gathers appropriate evidence to support potential litigation activities.

- Ensures investigation reports, as appropriate, are developed timely and with high quality.

- Identifies opportunities for improvement to investigation methods, tools, and training.

- Identifies meaningful business process and internal control enhancements and works with appropriate business stakeholders to implement.

Job Specification:

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent is required.

Generally, requires 2-5 years of related experience with data analytics, analysis, fraud, or investigations.

Other Specific Skills:

- Knowledge and experience w/ SQL and/or other programming languages: Python, R, or SAS

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Tableau

- Displays regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), as necessary. Occasional out-of-town travel may be required.
