Job Description
Innotech Laser is looking to expand. We are currently hiring for a production associate in our print department. Ideal candidate will have production or manufacturing experience, but we are willing to train the right person. Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance is a plus. Experience with Adobe Illustrator is also a big plus. Good time management, attention to detail, reliable transportation, the ability to multitask, and being a team player are key to this position.
Daily Responsibilities:
Examine work orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed, production time, stock specifications and colors
Print the job according to exact specifications
Prep, setup and clean up of printer
Catch and report quality issues (must have attention to detail)
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to separate, repurpose, and alter art files for different printing methods and RIP software
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
Advanced attention to detail and accuracy
Strong collaborative working style
Have ability to keep machine running with steady flow
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Knowledge of Adobe illustrator, photoshop and other photo editing/ripping software is a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work at a computer terminal/printer for long periods of time
Ability to routinely lift and carry products and materials weighing as much as 50lbs
Candidate will be trained on a variety of production machinery used in the printing industry. Qualified candidates will be detail oriented team players. This is a fast paced work environment that will require dexterity, tech savvy, focus and attention to detail.
First shift runs 9am to 5:30pm Monday - Friday with a 30 minute meal break
Weekend hours / overtime will be available and during busy season may be mandatory
