We were recently named one of the Philadelphia's 2020 Top Dentists and now we're looking for the right candidate to join our team as a dental assistant!
We are a growing Center City and Northeast Philadelphia dental practice that is looking for a candidate who has at least 1 year of experience working as a dental assistant. We will train and groom someone with the right personality and disposition with the hunger to grow professionally.
This position has the opportunity for growth and we have annual performance reviews where employee's performance is discussed to ensure career progression. Employee will be provided with Smile Team branded scrubs.
Our first office is located in a beautiful centrally located building in Center City Philadelphia with amazing views of Love Park. Our second office that is newly opened is located in Northeast Philadelphia. Both offices are modern with all of the latest technology.
Candidate must be available to work in our Northeast Philadelphia and Center City locations.
The expected responsibilities of an assistant can be found below:
Must have a friendly disposition and be willing to embrace a team atmosphere
Be fully trained to assist the Doctor on all dental procedures
Seat patients in the chair as soon as possible
Have X-ray certification or are willing to become certified in Pennsylvania
Educate patients on all procedures to be done
Stock operatories and help other assistants keep rooms stocked
Chart thoroughly all procedures done and document thoroughly what was said to the patient
Complete lab work on time (bleaching trays and study models)
Complete treatment plans and give to check-out for financial arrangements and presenting of treatment plans
Turn all equipment on at beginning of each day and off when day is done
Keep work areas neat and organized to include checking and changing traps
