(http://www.vetsez.com.)We are currently looking for a UI/UX Developer to work on a large federal government project on a 100% remote basis. The developer will closely work with clients to gather requirements and provide design and front-end coding for internal GUI applications and external websites. The ideal candidate will have experience utilizing MS PowerApps to develop applications that meet client requirements.Responsibilities:

The UI/UX developer will create mockups, wireframes, and layouts that promote ease of use and optimize how customers interact with all new products and features.

Develop applications based on the MS PowerApps platform, and maintain existing websites and plugins within Dynamics D365 to support systems engineering lifecycle activities.

Ability to work with core front end, APIs, and Restful Web Services.

Participate in the development of new applications and features within an Agile environment.

Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Understand HTML/CSS, JavaScript, responsive, and wireframe with direct experience optimizing design concepts around these technologies.

Requirements:

A minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience in interface design plus a bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical discipline is required.

Experience providing solutions, developing, and creating workflows with the Microsoft Power Apps service.

Experience working with Liquid templates for dynamic content rendering.

Power Apps portal administration, configuration, and customization skills.

Strong background in UI/UX design, methodologies, and development.

Experience with web-based technologies, including HTML code, CSS layout, JavaScript/jQuery, and Bootstrap.

Understanding of SharePoint and D365 integrations is desired

Experience customizing and integrating .NET based Content Management Systems, such as Sitefinity is a plus.

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

Understanding of Section 508 compliance
