Pall Corporation is seeking an Applications Specialist, Single-Use Technologies located in the US East Coast/Mid-Atlantic region. The Applications Specialist will provide technical support for Pall single-use technologies to external stakeholders (customers, partners) as well as internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Quality, Engineering, R&D)Our Applications Specialists

Travel 50% of the time,

Have home based offices

Provide best in class scientific support to our customers

Thrive in a fast-paced environment, never having the same day twice.The scope of work will include providing technical guidance and conducting training, site investigations and product trials. Internally, the Applications Specialist will also provide market intelligence (voice of the customer). Work will be performed remotely at customer sites throughout North America, and at Pall sites. This role will also be a key contributor to Pall Scientific Laboratory Services (SLS) and Single-Use Technologies (SUT) team development.Qualification Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in a Life Science, Physical Science, or Engineering field

Relevant experience required: a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the biotechnology or biopharmaceutical industry is most desirable; experience in a related field (e.g., small molecule pharma, pharma process engineering), would be considered

A relevant Master’s degree would also be considered in lieu of 2 years’ experience

Competence with common software tools (Microsoft Office)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the use of single-use technologies and/or filtration/separation technologies in a biotechnology manufacturing context

Knowledge of biotechnology manufacturing processes and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

While English will be the primary language for most communications, proficiency in another language (e.g., Spanish) is beneficial

Strong verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills

Excellent time management; ability to consistently meet deadlines

Self-motivated but with a strong sense of team

Sensitive to cultural differences across global regions

Travel >50%, including occasional weekends, domestic and overseas

Work safely and to comply with the company’s health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
