Germantown Friends School is seeking an assistant coach for its highly successful Boys & Girls Cross Country Programs. GFS is looking for a skilled communicator with proven coaching experience to help continue to build on a strong tradition. Candidates should be able to run with the athletes and be able to promote safety at all times. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to maintain the values of the school, and the Friends Schools League.

This is a part-time position from August - early November, with the potential to continue on to winter and spring track. Monday - Saturday, including a significant number of weekend competitions involving overnight travel to regional and national competitions. Availability at 3:45 p.m. for practices and competitions is essential.
