Summer Positions Open Immediately!
Little Scholars Academy is seeking Teachers and Counselors for our Summer Camp and Preschool who are passionate about providing a safe and nurturing environment for children that encourages their social, emotional, physical and intellectual development.
Candidates must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong leadership skills and have the ability to work well with others. In addition, candidates must demonstrate the ability to nurture and promote positive growth in children. Candidate must be energetic, compassionate, and culturally sensitive and aware.
Qualifications:
Counselors: CDA/ High School Diploma plus experience with children
Teachers: Bachelor/ Associate Degree in ECE or related field
All candidates must be must have passed a recent tuberculosis test. Candidates must also be able to pass a background check.
Responsibilities:
-Assist in design and implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum
-Supervise age-appropriate activities: monitor, direct, protect, encourage, and nurture children
-Maintain a safe, clean, fun, and healthy environment for children
-Maintain regular communication with parents verbally and through daily reports
-Daily reports
-Other duties as assigned
