Radnor ABC is looking for a driver/house monitor for the 2019-2020 school year.
Radnor A Better Chance, Inc. (Radnor ABC) is one of the community schools of the National A Better Chance Program. Our goal is to develop leaders of tomorrow by providing students of color, who show strong academic and leadership potential and are from under-served communities, with a home away from home while attending Radnor High School, a top rated public high school in Pennsylvania.
We have 10 high school students that live in the Radnor ABC house, located in Wayne.

Days: Monday - Thursday during the academic school year, minus school breaks and holidays. This position can be split between two people.
Hours: 2:45 - 6pm
Pay: $12/hour
Reports To: Resident Director
Start Date: As soon as possible
Duties Include:
1 - Provide rides to and from after school activities, as scheduled.
2 - Supervise students at house when not providing rides.
Supervision includesbut is not limited toproviding a physical and accessible adult presence in the house, monitoring the whereabouts of the students at all times in person and via texting and phone calls, enforcing all rules associated with appropriate house behavior including emergency situations, and informing the Resident Director immediately of any issues, infractions or problems that have occurred.
3 - Advise students of opportunities open to them when they are not involved in a school-sponsored extracurricular activity (example: Wayne Art Center).
Experience Desired:
Supervising, coaching, mentoring and/or parenting adolescents are very important skills for this role, as well as the desire to positively engage young people and to support their healthy development and to nurture them.

- Clearances and Mandated Reporter Training
- Clean driving record
