Miller Brother Staffing Solutions has the immediate need of an experienced Parts Counter Sales in State College, PA.

Pay Rate – $12/hour

Shift: 1st Shift: Tuesday-Thursday 7am-4pm could consider the right candidate for a full time schedule

Job Description/Duties

Counter Sales

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing unsurpassed customer service to both internal and external customers. Primarily works with counter customers. Also works with the outside sales account managers and other personnel to provide solutions to customer specific problems. Enters customer stock and nonstock orders, procuring items when necessary. Responsible for branch warehouse responsibilities.

Required Education and Experience:

High School diploma or acceptable equivalent

Product knowledge or experience helpful

Customer service or sales experience helpful

Required Skills and Qualifications

Works independently

Listens and communicates accurately

Acts in accordance with policies and procedures

Specific Job Responsibilities:

Waits on counter customers

Provides customer with product information

Provides customer with product price and availability

Enters customer orders (schedule and procure)

Prepares quotations

Follows up with customer on quotations

Maintains counter cash drawer

Picks customer orders

Performs cycle counts

Assists sales force/ customers with product selection

Assists sales force/ customers with product troubleshooting

Monitors open sales order queues, RDC and WOE queues, bid follow ups, and email and other service sensitive entities

Assists with customer returns—stock at counter

Attends monthly sales meetings

Attends product training meetings

Promotes products and services

Provides solutions to customer specific problems

Monitors/responds to emails, voicemails, Eclipse messages, and job queues daily

Answers incoming sales calls

Assists sales force in product sourcing

Enters stock and nonstock quotes and orders

Helps Joint Venture partners in service to their customers

Sources and procures special items from vendors

Regularly communicates with other company personnel on customer needs and issues

Maintains counter and warehouse cleanliness and organization

Performs other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 20 pounds and stand for duration of shift.
