3 Dots Downtown is looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant to work alongside the Managing Director.
This position requires quick, creative thinking in conjunction with administrative acumen and initiative. The Administrative Assistant will need to adhere to 3 Dots mission and community standards and represent the nonprofit in their actions and through their spoken and written words. Patience, generosity, and attentiveness will be necessary to effectively work with the vast number of community members who find their way into the space. The Administrative Assistant must be innovative, as well as team, people, and detail-oriented.
Job duties will vary every day and range from assisting with programming and handling inquiry requests to managing our community calendar and cleaning the space. Applicants must feel comfortable lifting, bending, and kneeling in order to help set up for and manage the variety of events that occur in our community space. Preference will be given to those competent in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and Photoshop. Preference will be given to those with a creative background and customer service experience.
Hours per week: 20 hours
The schedule will change weekly as needed but will require a consistent presence in the space.
Example schedule:
Wednesday: 10:30am 3:00pm or 6:00pm 10:30pm
Thursday: 10:30am 4:00pm
Friday: 10:30am 4:00pm or 6:00pm 11:30pm
Saturday: 10:30am 3:00pm
Compensation:
Hourly.
20 hours per week.
Up to $15 per hour - Based on experience and determined at interview.
Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities:
Welcome visitors to the space
Handle basic reservation and information questions, whether in person, email, or phone
Manage the cleanliness of the space
Data entry for our mailing list
Maintenance of our customer database
Assist to carry out programming plans
Commenting and replying to social media requests and messages
Maintaining the physical calendars in our space
Assisting with setting up and tearing down events
Run and manage simple events
Requirements:
Flexible Hours as schedule may change weekly
Access to a reliable laptop
Ability to work evening and weekend hours as needed
Experience writing professional emails and speaking with authority
Experience in customer service
Competency in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite with proficiency with Photoshop
