DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will collaborate with the Secretaries of the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) to pinpoint key departmental priorities and formulate statewide initiatives that pertain to the dairy industry in the Commonwealth. Your responsibilities will include engaging with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, such as industry representatives, the Center for Dairy Excellence to assess industry deficiencies and recognize its strengths, thereby fostering the growth and promotion of the Commonwealth's dairy sector. Additionally, you will be tasked with the development, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive statewide planning strategies aimed at improving both dairy production and processing.
