Headquartered in Ambridge, PA, Beemac Inc. operates over 400 trucks, and has 34 terminals nationwide.Job Summary:The Director, Billing & Collections is responsible for complete oversight of the company?s billing and collections departments. This includes establishing policies and procedures that meet customer guidelines and ensures compliance with all applicable regulations for their assigned customers. Works collaboratively with other business units and managed care customers to implement best practices that drive financial performance. The ideal candidate will be willing to work at the front lines to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of our systems and processes. Responsibilities and Duties:

Direct oversight of the Billing and Collection/Credit departments.

Evaluate associate performance, hold associates accountable to attainable defined goals and objectives. Execute effective performance redirection as needed.

Maintains a complete understanding of all systems used in the revenue cycle to assist in the establishment of processes, and to monitor effectiveness of these processes.

Use of critical thinking to overcome day to day business challenges in a fast-paced work environment.

Develop relationships with customers to define, implement and manage the most efficient processes to maximize account receivable returns.

Develop relationships with internal and external company departments to define and manage the day to day workflow of company billing and receivables.

Ability to operate independently to oversee a department that requires quick and logical decision making authority.

Develop and maintain management reports along with department KPIs.

Monitors and evaluates employee performance. Holds employees accountable for the attainment of defined goals and objectives. Executes effective performance redirection when needed. Develops employees through coaching, mentoring, and formal/on the job training and development opportunities.

Effectively communicate with co-workers, management, drivers and others in a courteous and professional manner.

Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

Experience:

Three (3+) years of transportation industry experience (Required).

Two (2+) years of critical thinking and process defining experience (Required).

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. revenue cycle processing

Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on transportation administration experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

Strong research and analytical skills.

SOP and Policy writing skills.
