OverviewGDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a
Desktop Support Analyst in the Pittsburgh, PA area.Position OverviewThe Desktop Support Analyst provides hardware and software support, IT administration/services, IMAC (Install, Move, Add, and Change), and technology training and guidance to the staff at multiple locations.Responsibilities- The Desktop Support Analyst is expected to review and resolve help tickets in a timely manner and balance workload to meet customer needs.
- Escalate issues to management and seek assistance from peers for technical issues beyond skillset. Document processes as necessary. Provide guidance to members of staff in a senior capacity.
- 3-5 years working experience providing IT support services with a proven track record of excellent customer service skills.
- Computer hardware and software troubleshooting experience. This includes troubleshooting computer networks, computer hardware, network installation and cabling. Also seeking experience with virus remediation and malware removal, printer installation and troubleshooting telephone, network and domain administration.
- Excellent customer service skills expected. Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple assignments and adjust priorities as necessary.
- 4-year college or technical degree preferred. In lieu of a formal degree, certifications and previous work experience will be considered.
