We have an opportunity for you.Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has immediate openings for Industrial Machinery Mechanical Technicians at its Rotoflow facility in Fogelsville, PA. Successful candidates will have experience in industrial equipment manufacture and repair with an emphasis on compressors and turbines. Responsibilities:-all duties necessary to receive, store and issue materials, parts and equipment in the storeroom area.
all operations necessary to receive and ship all incoming and outgoing materials and products such as wrapping, packing, weighing, stenciling, addressing, crating, un-crating, loading and unloading.
prepare all necessary records.
collect, move to and from, and sort materials, parts and equipment into bins, shelves or other storage facilities.
prepare required materials from requisitions and deliver to individual jobs.
process all necessary paperwork, pull parts and material from stock, wrap, pack, weigh and prepare for delivery to shipping area.
use knowledge of shipping procedures, practices, routes, available means of transportation and rates, as well as knowledge of components, materials nomenclature, records required, material control systems, and other information necessary to perform the duties of the classification.
operate equipment necessary in the performance of duties such as forklift, hoist, hand truck, jib cranes and company trucks.
perform inventory; knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
perform all duties necessary to cut and saw a variety of materials on band and cut-off saw; use hand tools and simple measuring instruments in performing the above.
perform a variety tasks to support of production.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED
Basic knowledge of inventory control operations
Knowledge of manufacturing practices preferred
Knowledge and experience in safe material handling
Good attention to detail
Good verbal and written communications skills
Ability to lift 40 pounds and perform other physical tasks required by the job.
Familiarity with date entry preferred
SAP experience preferred
