We're searching for a full-time SUPERVISING COMMUNITY MANAGER for The Dahlia, a 69-unit apartment community in downtown Canby. This community offers modern living within walking distance from shops and restaurants. This is a secured access building with a lounge and coffee bar, Wi-Fi, elevator, fitness room, outdoor garden and seating area “ an 85 Walking Score

Your work schedule will start at 40-hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday, but will eventually work into Monday through Friday; LETS TALK ABOUT WHAT WORKS BEST FOR YOU! You will be eligible for medical benefits the 1st of the month following 60 days of continuous employment, as well as paid holidays and PTO. You will also have two weeks of paid vacation after one year

The Supervising Community Manager is not required to live onsite; however, if you choose to live onsite, you will get a 20% monthly rent discount on a studio or 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit, no charge for water/sewer/garbage, washer/dryer in unit, and YOUR PETS ARE WELCOME TOO! You will have a wonderful separate office

JOB SUMMARY

The Supervising Community Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of this amazing property including marketing, maintaining property integrity, conducting tours, screening prospective residents, collecting rents, serving notices, developing reports and preparing agreements, managing vendors, repairs and vacancy turnovers, and maintaining confidential files. The Supervising Community Manager is responsible for ensuring that the grounds and common areas always look their best!

The successful candidate MUST demonstrate strong leadership skills to lead a staff, have outstanding customer service skills, be punctual and detail oriented, and maintain courteous relationships with residents and vendors.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Prior property management EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Strong supervisory and organization skills with the ability to lead and direct others.

Excellent marketing skills in order to competitively market the property.

Outstanding and demonstrated customer service skills.

Computer proficient and able to learn new company software.

Knowledge of basic maintenance, painting, landscaping, and cleaning techniques including product use.

Good verbal and written communication skills, strong active listening skills, and ability to understand and meet the needs of residents.
