AgriCare, Inc., a full service farm management company founded in 1990, is looking for mechanics with all levels of experience to work in a variety of our Oregon farm locations.
We are looking for:
One highly experienced mechanic for our farm located in Independence

Key Functions Include:
Order parts and track inventory.
Maintain, repair, and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, and harvesters
Test and replace electrical components and wiring, using test meters, soldering equipment, and hand tools
Track or Manage work flow
Record details of repairs made and parts used
Perform other job duties as assigned
Clean and lubricate parts.
Fuel and inspect equipment.
Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operation and making adjustments as necessary.
Repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools, welding equipment, grinders, or saws.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Valid Drivers License
Clean Driving Record
3-5 years of experience
Extensive mechanical experience
Decision making and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure
Detail oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual
Trade certifications or related degrees (If you are using either to meet the job qualifications, please attach either the certificate or your transcript with your application)

Physical Requirements:
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel.
