We are looking for positive and outgoing people to join our team as call center associates in the Tigard area! This call center position would be perfect for anyone with a positive attitude and a customer service background. One will be taking inbound calls to help those with issues regarding their phones.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Working in a call center environment, taking about 50 calls/day, primarily inbound callsUtilizing one computer screen and the company's proprietary software programAssisting customers in setting up accounts, canceling accounts, phone troubleshooting, sharing promotional opportunities, etc.Talking with customers by phone and receives orders for installation, turn on, discontinuance, or change in serviceProviding service courteously, accurately, and efficientlyWork sitting at a desk at least 95% of daily staffed time, not including scheduled breaks using a computer and talking on the phone to customersEncouraging sale of new or additional servicesResearching complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigationEnsuring customer retention and satisfactionEnsuring customer information stays private, secure, and confidentialQualifications:Typing at least 30 WPM is requiredTyping at least 35 WPM is preferred (will be emailed this test)"Basic Computer Literacy" in-office computer testing (will be emailed this test)1-2 years exceptional customer service experience (including comfort with upset customers)Aptitude to quickly learn and navigate new technology systems and applicationsComfort working in a feedback-rich environment and ability to take coaching and make improvementsComfort working in a metrics-driven environment, and have ability to hit metricsMust possess a professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers over the phoneThe ability to actively listen and communicate with our customers, like an expertBe able to multitask and provide explanations in simple termsProven track record of strong attendance/reliabilityA basic understanding of cellular phones and cellular industry is preferredMust be able to read/write/speak English fluentlyThis is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into the professional customer service industry who has only been in retail customer service.
