SurplusGizmos is seeking some one to help with retail and online sales
We are a small retail store specializing in selling new, used, and surplus electronics related to hobby and industrial electronics.
Example: LED's, AC motors, DC motors, stepper motors, arduino, resistors, capacitors, electronic assemblies, meters, transistors, microcontrollers, wire, TTL logic chips, project boxes, CNC parts, etc. etc.
Job Description/Requirements:
Great people skills,
Customer first positive attitude. You will be interacting with customers all day.
Ability to correctly count change back to the customer for sales.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 7, QuickBooks, office programs, Linux a plus.
Work environment can be random so needs to be a self starter with very good organizational skills.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks.
Safety minded!
Basic or better understanding of electronics, mechanical skills, Arduino a plus
Take photos, create product web pages for online sales.
Restock shelves and keep web page stock counts updated
Perform other work as requested: cleaning, sorting, tearing apart stuff, participate in local store events as capable.
Physical requirements: Lifting up to 50 pounds, more with help, standing most of the time.
Reliable transportation or ability to use public transportation.
Work schedule is Tuesday to Saturday.
Must be able to pass a background check.
