Great opportunity for a property management team with experience!
Jamestowne Plaza Apartments has 1, 2 & 3 bd apartment homes in the beautiful West Linn area. The property is in need of new managers who will oversee the 42 apartments working 50 hours/week, split between two people (to accommodate the extra hours regularly needed every week, including landscaping and pool). We offer a generous compensation package that includes $1125.00 rent credit for a 2 bd 1 ba apartment (900sq ft) plus $2200.00/month salary. In addition, there is $135 in monthly reimbursements for expenses.
The required duties include, but are not limited to, receiving and depositing rent, enforcing apartment and management policies, maintaining the grounds, responding to maintenance requests, overseeing vendors and being available to respond to emergencies.
The following skills are essential to succeed in the position:
Marketing -
Experience in retail/sales.
On-line marketing experience.
Enjoy working with people.
Work Saturday & Sunday.
Knowledge of and ability to adhere to Fair Housing.
Maintenance -
Have at least 1 yr apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.
Be willing and able to oversee vendors and paint/clean/repair apartments at turnover, if necessary.
Must be able to push/pull 70 lbs.
Maintain exceptional curb appeal by picking up the grounds twice daily.
Office/Accounting -
Having experience in apartment management is REQUIRED.
Education minimum of high school diploma/GED.
Must have strong mathematical skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
