At The Garages Satellite Pub is looking to add another bartender. 20-30 hr week. Must be punctual, mature, strong work ethic, friendly and able to follow directions.

Description of the Position:
In general, every bartender will be asked to handle every task from opening to closing of the bar. Duties include but are not limited to; pouring and serving beer, wine and spirits, operating a POS system and Oregon lottery, waiting and busing tables, inventory, restocking supplies and coolers, cleaning of pub and restrooms, help get pub set up for events and maintaining customer relations. All employees will also be expected to keep current on all company events. Other duties as assigned by the Manager on duty.
Most importantly, this job requires a positive attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service and pride in a job well done. Each employee is expected to come to work clean dressed, ready to work and be a positive force. This is not a sit and chit chat job, we expect you to perform all duties while on the clock while maintaining customer service excellence, and aware of what's happening in the pub at all times. We have something going on daily.
Requirements of the Job:
Obtain and maintain current food handlers and OLCC liquor license
Previous bartending experience preferred (2 years)
Verify guests that purchase alcohol are at least 21 years of age
Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
Knowledge of Oregon Lottery
Knowledge of wine and spirits preferred
Excellent customer service & communication skills
Ability to accurately handle cash and work with numbers
A flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, on call.
Provide excellent customer service and produce high quality beverages for customers
Work for long periods on feet including frequent walking, perform repetitive movements such as pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and stooping.
