He / she is responsible for utilizingthe current best styling practices to achieve consistent high qualityimage-ready product in a short amount of time. He / she will work in tandemwith photographer, under the supervision of the styling manager and studiomanager. Assists in coordinating and tracking product flow.Responsibilities:

Style product on-mannequin, flat, on-model, or as otherwise directed in a high volume studio environment to achieve prescribed quality product images.

Style special request shots to specific needs of art directors creatively and efficiently. Communicate effectively to execute art director’s needs.

Work closely with studio manager, photographer, and post-production team to assure all steps of photography process needed are being met.

Work with product and/or models on location when necessary. Travel with lifestyle photography team for location shoots as needed. Assist with coordination of all aspects required with on location photography.

Manage time and resources to deliver jobs on or ahead of schedule.

Understand Columbia server structure as it relates to product images and related jobs, and perform relevant file searches when necessary.

Assist in tracking and coordinating product flow through the studio on a daily basis.

Communicate with stylist manager, studio manager, photographers, and other stylists as needed to perform job.

Adhere to all departmental guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

Associate’s degree working toward apparel design, or fabric arts or related field.

3-5 years styling of all types and products in studio environment. 3-5 years of on location and on model styling.

Possess through knowledge of fabrics and pattern construction to understand the way a garment should appear at its best when placed on a mannequin.

Knowledge of use of pinning techniques and other tools used in styling.

General knowledge of photography and lighting.
