This is an initial 6-12 months, open-ended contract assignment in Portland, OR. The client is looking for a Salesforce, Lightning, Apex, and Visualforce developer. MUST HAVE AT LEAST 6 years of Salesforce Development experience. The right candidate MUST WORK ONSITE in Portland, OR. There is NO WORKING FROM HOME, TELECOMMUTING, and/or REMOTE WORK ALLOWED. Lastly, the right candidate MUST HAVE Salesforce Certifications/Certified. If not local, MUST RELOCATE and WORK ONSITE in Portland, OR.Responsibilities:- Define and develop technical solutions in Salesforce to support business processes.
- Develop advanced Lightning, Visual Force, and Apex solutions.
- Develop and utilize APIs to communicate between Salesforce and other internal/external systems.
- Maintain and enhance visual layout, workflow rules, flows and business logic to streamline and enhance business processes and improve user experience.
- Implement and integrate third-party products/applications on the Salesforce platform.
- Perform Quality Assurance on all developed solutions
- Deploy Salesforce meta-data between non-production and production environments using appropriate tools.
- Research and advice on best practices for Salesforce solutions.
- Stay current with the periodic Salesforce releases and leverage the applicable updates.
- Work with Salesforce support to troubleshoot issues and maintain smooth operation and performance of the platform.
- Manage and support sandbox and production environments across the enterprise to facilitate successful development, testing and deployment of new features and functionality.
- Support all Salesforce releases and ensure system uptime as per the SLA.
- Liaison with Salesforce developers both internally and through user communities.
- 5+ years of Salesforce development (or equivalent) experience. (MUST)
- Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Developer/Platform Developer certifications
- Experience with Salesforce Architecture and a desire to grow into an Architect level role
- Experience with various Salesforce Community and sites(MUST)
- Experience with installing and configuring packages from AppExchange
- Experience with Lightning Components, VisualForce, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS(MUST)
- Experience with Salesforce Apex Code and SQL queries required
