Within the Corporate Treasury Team, the Financial Analyst will assist with the measurement and monitoring of the Bank’s Market Risk. This individual is a key member of the Corporate Treasury Team and will partner extensively with colleagues across the Corporate function. You will assist with various aspects of modeling and forecasting and preparation of material of the Bank’s executive-level ALCO Committee.More generally, the Financial Analyst broadly supports the Bank through financial reporting and performance management needs, including reporting, analysis, and forecasting processes. You will analyze historical trends and support the preparation of forecasts and models to identify and explain historical and projected variances relative to financial targets and specific scenarios. Performs, directs or oversees analysis, and/or reports to support organizational, strategic or risk management objectives.Functions

Analyze large and complex financial data to produce actionable results and business insight.

Produce presentation materials to clearly and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders, including Senior Management.

Partner with Finance and Risk departments as well as other corporate functions; facilitate cross-functional collaboration and manage inputs required from subject matter experts across the Bank.

Develop analytics of key drivers of results and changes in business and Market Risk strategy.

Prepare and deliver presentation materials such as valuation, stress testing, and scenario analysis results.

Work on projects of diverse scope, highly varied and complex, requiring complex analysis and interpretation, exercising judgment within broadly defined procedures and practices.

Develop and roll out Treasury procedures to strengthen the reliability and repeatability of key processes used within the Market Risk Management framework.

Establish, support and maintain processes for delivering high-quality results for all Market Risk activities to ensure timely and accurate regulatory and non-regulatory submissions.

Drive simplicity and efficiencies in the deployment of Market Risk activities incorporating feedback and refinement processes from test runs, validations, and third-party reviews to improve efficiencies.

Assist in the remediation of regulatory recommendations related to Treasury Team’s portfolio of activities and in the development of business requirements.

Conduct special studies and cooperate with other departments in the preparation of financial or economic statistical studies.

Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position, and keep up to date on regulation changes.

Maintain working knowledge of our policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations that apply to your position.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent

3 - 5 years of relevant experience demonstrating analytical and mathematical skills and knowledge of economic/financial concepts, policies, and practices. Basic knowledge in Statistics is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to analyze financial data.

Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel, and experience with financial software.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks successfully.

Organized and detail oriented.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Requires close visual acuity.

Normal office environment.

Occasional travel.
