WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in a quantitative field suchas statistics, mathematics, economics, business analytics, operationsresearch, or related field

4+ years of experience executing quantitative analysisand building data products

Validated ability to sift through data, performstatistical analysis, identify critical information, and develop solutionoptions

Commitment to and hands-on experience in performingtechnical code reviews and data issue triage.

Strong understanding of database management systems andexpert data wrangling and SQL skills (e.g. Snowflake, Oracle, TeraData).

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau,PowerBI)

Exceptional interpersonal skills and validated abilityto communicate analysis process, results and subsequent impact totechnical/non-technical audiences in both verbal and written form

Able to quickly pick up new programming languages,technologies, and frameworks

Working knowledge of Scrum and agile principles.

Preferred:

Master’s degree (M.A., M.S. or MBA) in economics,statistics, engineering or related field

6+ years of experience building business intelligenceor analytics solutions in an enterprise setting

Experience with statistical analysis and visualizationpackages in R, Python, SAS or SPSS

Experience with cloud environments (e.g. AWS)

strategic priorities, elevating the function of analytics within Nike.As a Data Analytics Manager on the

Advanced Analytics team, you will be a key contributor to the building and

promoting of Nike’s central forecasting/optimization platform that provides

actionable insights and supports critical business and investment decisions.

You will work side by side with our data scientists and engineers, and in close

partnership with other business intelligence and data product teams.The role is perfect for a data

evangelist who is self-motivated and unconventionally curious, especially about

how data can be used to inform consumer demand. You enjoy finding relationships

between disparate data sets and clarity in a muddied data environment. You have

a healthy degree of skepticism and the ability to speak data truth to power.

You also know how to rise above the numbers and explain the essential insights

to business users and you instinctively minimize complexity to focus on results.

While you rely on data to prove your point, you love to think outside the box

and solve problems creatively. You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and

you are excited by the challenge of building something from the ground up. You

are continually learning, asking questions, finding new opportunities, and

Analyze and profile data to fulfill ad-hoc analysisrequests and uncover insights in support of scalable solutions. Monitorand troubleshoot operational or data issues in the data pipelines.

Independently solve complex data problems by leveraginganalytical and statistical rigor.

Provide project management support and serve as subjectmatter expert on data and business process within area of focus.

Support best practices in developing and production ofanalytics products: requirements analysis, data quality control, codereview, testing/validation, and documentation.

Evangelize analytics and drive adoption with businessstakeholders ranging from planners to high-level executives.
