Job Req: 20-05508Job Title: Change Manager Job Location: Portland, ORJob Type: 6-Month ContractSUMMARYThe Change Manager will drive and manage change activities for Product & Technology department. This role will be responsible for ensuring that change in the organization is a planned and managed process and will also drive team morale and productivity through working closely with our communications partner on a comprehensive communications strategy for our change activities. The successful candidate will be an innovator, leveraging best practices from traditional models while looking for new technologies and techniques that connect employees.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead change management activities using a structured methodology (e.g., Prosci s ADKAR model); creatively adapt to best resonate with employees and teams.
- Partner effectively with Communications partners to develop change management strategy that support change initiatives.
- Effectively execute change management strategies.
- Define and implement change management best practices and standards to raise the organizational maturity and level of performance; reduce organizational stress and anxiety that comes with ambiguous change.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with managers and employees to identify, track, and manage to resolution change management risks and issues.
- Recommend methods to integrate change management activities into internal metrics and reporting.
- Provide consulting and coaching to managers and leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in organizational change or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience using formal change management processes, developing change management and communication strategies and plans, and effectively executing those plans.
- Demonstrated experience executing change management strategies in a business environment with teams and projects
- Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci, CAP) or other associated certifications are preferred.
- Experience defining and collecting metrics which measure both internal program change management success and business-focused value.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence and successfully accomplish work in a large, matrixed environment.
- Ability to work through ambiguity.
- Experience supporting technology projects preferred.
