DescriptionAccountemps is looking to bring an experienced Bookkeeper onto a growing team in Portland! This company has a small family feel but needs someone to manage their high volume accounts payable. If you have AP experience and can work in an open collaborative environment, this opportunity may be for you! Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts
Examine payments received and record deposits
Preside over and review general ledger
Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Settle accounts by reconciling entries
Requirements
Expertise in QuickBooks Desktop
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Bank reconciliations experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
10+ years working with various types of accounting software desired
