We are a small but well established local design firm focused primarily on residential projects in historic architectural styles. However, we have an increasing number of commercial projects and would like to add some specific expertise in this area. Initially, we would like to hire someone on a per-project basis. If it works out, this would expand to more projects and possibly a full time job if the fit is right. If you were to expand to full time work, you would ideally be doing residential work as well as commercial.
Minimum Requirements:
1) Familiar with OSSC and OEESC
2) Capable of analyzing and designing to code requirements, such as fire and life safety
3) Currently active ARI through the OSBAE
Bonus Areas:
4) CAD skills, preferably Rhino 3D on PC
5) An interest in residential project work and historic residential architectural styles
6) Broad knowledge of the technical aspects of building construction and drafting
7) Willingness to be flexible and follow our firm's specific design process and drafting standards

D) If you were paid by the hour, what your minimum hourly rate expectations would be. If you are more familiar with annual wage expectations, you can let us know that number and we can calculate backwards to derive an hourly wage.
E) How soon you are available and how many hours you can commit to per week currently
F) What you are currently doing for income on a day-to-day basis (initially, we would prefer if someone can support themselves while we see how this works out).
