About the Program

Driftwood Lodge RTF is a beautiful 8-bed mental health Residential Treatment Facility converted from an old fishing lodge with ocean views. Driftwood Lodge is located in Gold Beach, Oregon at the mouth of the famous Rogue River on the beautiful Southern Oregon coast.

About the Position

We have a Full-Time opening for a Residential Therapist (Qualified Mental Health Professional) to provide clinical services at our Driftwood Lodge RTF program in Gold Beach, OR. This position provides clinical services and supervision for individuals affected by a severe and persistent mental illness in a residential treatment setting. This position requires the ability to assist with training and clinical oversight of the Residential Associates who provide the 24-hour residential support services to the residents. The QMHP will report to the Facility Administrator for day-to-day supervision and work assignments, and be supervised by the ColumbiaCare Clinical Director for clinical standards and quality improvement.

Work Schedule: Monday“Friday 8am-5pm (Day)

This position requires the ability to perform a Comprehensive Mental Health Assessment, Assessment Updates and Treatment Plan. The QMHP will also provide clinical oversight and consultation to facility staff and liaison with other community providers. In addition, while we are an organization that does not practice seclusion or restraint, we do still require our direct care staff to successfully complete our Verbal and Physical Intervention (VPI) crisis de-escalation training, which includes performing various physical, evasion and safety maneuvers in class.

Qualifications

MUST meet State of Oregon QMHP credentials:

a) Masters degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field; Bachelor's degree in Nursing and be Licensed by the State of Oregon

b) MUST meets OAR requirement for QMHP by having completed TWO (2) YEARS of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting

Successful applicants MUST have a valid Oregon drivers license, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.

Salary & Benefits

$4,000-$6,000 per month/DOE and QMHP credentials. This is a salary exempt position.
