Barking Moon Farm is hiring qualified field workers to start immediately.
We are a small-scale certified organic family-run farm that produces high-quality mixed vegetables for fresh market. We are currently looking to fill one full-time (40 hrs./week), year-round field worker position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to transplanting, weeding, harvesting, and washing mixed vegetable crops for fresh market. Work continues in all types of weather and through fire season.
Eligible applicants will be hardworking, punctual, reliable, respectful, honest, able to carry out tasks both on their own and in a group setting, bring a positive attitude, and have a strong passion for certified organic vegetable production.
A MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR IN COMMERCIAL VEGETABLE PRODUCTION IS REQUIRED.
LANDSCAPING, GARDENING, AND CANNABIS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED TOWARD EXPERIENCE.
