We are seeking an experienced Farm Operations Assistant Manager for the day-to-day operations of our hemp farm located in Jacksonville, Oregon.
This exciting role requires a hands-on approach to help manage and oversee all aspects of the hemp growing farm and harvesting.
You will ideally be a team player who is patient and flexible, with the capacity to take responsibility and make decisions.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to help manage daily issues and help support the team.
Reporting to the Farm Manager, the position of Farm Assistant Manager will involve the following responsibilities and duties:
Day-to-day farming operations of hemp growing and harvesting.
Able to work irrigation and plumbing daily.
Organizational and time-management skills.
Capable of maintaining and repairing farm structures, machinery and equipment.
Help overseeing the field work; and, working one on one with the field workers.
Able to perform labored tasks repeatedly.
Help to ensure the farm activities comply with government regulations per Department of Agriculture rules
and regulations.
Apply health and safety standards per OSHA rules and regulations.
Protect the environment and maintain biodiversity.
Maintain a drug-free workplace.
