Front Desk Innkeeper – Starting at $12.00 and Up DOE
We are currently growing and would like to add an exceptional new member to our Innkeeping |Front Desk team here in Ashland.
Who we are: Two historic boutique hotels located just off of the theaters & near campus. Our main goal is to offer theater goers, and travelers alike, a wonderful escape to rejuvenate and replenish while enjoying all that Ashland has to offer. We are a family organization who prides ourselves in offering the most welcoming environment with the most peaceful rooms to lay their head in one of our total of 40 rooms.
Who you are: You have front desk experience in a fast paced, courteous hotel or spa and pay great attention to detail. You enjoy working both inside and getting a little sun outdoors as well. You pride yourself in a job well done, in a timely manner, and are happy when you are able to enhance a guest visit with your local expertise. You can lift up to 30 lbs. without difficulty while getting your steps in each day and may even consider it part of a good day’s work out. Solid technology is a plus.
Being an Innkeeper means you take an overall roll in the entirety of the properties and how you welcome a guest into them. You are the first and last face they will meet and will need to make sure everything is running perfectly. That means you chip in at every angle to make the experience the best it can be. Though no two days are alike, here is a bit of what that looks like:
Fostering exceptional guest relations
Concierge services
Booking reservations, to include sales
Open & closing duties
Coffee & tea service
Flower Arranging
Laundry | Assisting the housekeepers
Maintaining linens at the pool
Compensation: Previous experience and pay scale will be considered for the best new team member. Extras include 401k with matching, potential for bonuses and paid time off.
