Personnel Source is looking for a Portal Support Specialist II for our Eugene client. This position is full time on a month to month temporary need until the position is no longer needed or a permanent opening becomes available.
The Portal Support Specialist is the front-line support personnel working with end users and carrier sales representatives or carrier sales operations personnel, the role requires strong customer service, professionalism and interpersonal skills.Responsibilities:
Provide direct professional customer interaction by responding to incoming requests for service.
Provide both phone and email support to clients.
Perform training sessions on portals for carrier representatives and end users.
Review system and submit trouble tickets through company project management tool.
Utilize problem solving skills to troubleshoot portal and order-related issues.
Process orders as needed.
Work with QA team to ensure finished projects meet all customer requirements and quality standards.
Working with Technical Publications to produce documentation & training materials for customers and support personnel.
Provide customer feedback and potential opportunities to relevant internal groups.
Identify and recommend new product functionality or enhancements to product/program management.Experience/Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years in a customer-facing technical role
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated strong communication skill
Ability to handle difficult conversations with tact and effectiveness
