For more information about Influents Innovations please visit . We are a small, growing team of researchers and professionals looking to expand and diversify our team. In the Software Engineer IV role, you will act as a senior software architect with team leadership responsibilities including management of teams of more junior engineers. You will guide team decisions on architecture, development methodology, environments, software stacks and tools to support research projects, as well as guide the transition from research to commercialization to ongoing maintenance and enhancements. You will also represent team activities to technical and non-technical, internal and external audiences and when appropriate server as a bridge between internal teams and vendors. You may be right for this position if you have
- 8+ years professional software development experience, particularly multi-tiered web-based applications
- 5+ years leading software projects and teams, directing, training, and mentoring junior developers
- 2+ years' experience transitioning software projects to and from other organizations or transitioning to product support teams
- 2+ years working in a research-oriented environment preferred
- Multiple shipped products preferred
- Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skill and ability to perform the job.
