Knife River has an immediate opening for a Quality Control Supervisor in Harrisburg, OR.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee inspection and testing of materials, and finished precast product.
- Supervise QC technicians.
- Responsible for assuring the quality of precast production.
- Check all concrete members against drawings before and after casting.
- Perform daily tests.
- Determine acceptability of rework by conducting inspections of reworked product.
- Document finished product status by recording and summarizing preliminary, in-process and finished product data.
- Maintain product quality documentation system by writing quality assurance policies. - ensure that all products manufactured meet with specifications, and other misc. duties as directed by supervisor.
- Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Good leadership, communication, writing, and math skills.
- Must be able to read blueprints and pay attention to details.
- Must be self motivated and willing to motivate team members.
- Must have or the ability to obtain PCI III cert and ACI QCT certifications.
- Need positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.
- Must be competent with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, night shifts, and overtime.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members.
