You will work with a great team of LPN’s/RN’s and Direct Care workers who really care about the individuals they provide services to and like to have fun and are a positive group of people.
The job duties would include working with up to five adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) supporting them in their home and in the community. The LPN/RN administers medications, monitors vital signs, performs skin checks and evaluates and assess the overall health of the residents. Some duties may include G-tube feedings, tracheal care, and diabetic care. The duties will include lifting up to 60lbs, helping Direct Care employees with bathing, feeding, repositioning or pivot transfers and two person lifts as needed. Some duties could include taking the resident to doctor’s appointments, and on outings in the community.
Benco considers 30 regularly scheduled hours per week full time. Benco offers Medical/Vision/Dental benefits if the employee is working at least 30 regularly scheduled hours per week.
Current full time set schedule available: Sunday-Wednesday 10p-8a (awake graveyard) = 40 hours per week.
Benco employees begin earning sick time upon hire. For every 30 hours the employee works the employee will earn 1 hour of sick time and may use that time effective immediately. Once the employee reaches the anniversary date of hire, depending on how many regularly scheduled hours the employee works per week, the employee could earn up to 8 hours per month of sick time. Vacation accrual begins at one year of employment as long as the employee is working at least 20 regularly schedules hours per week.
Benco offers a 403b retirement plan if the employee works at least 10 regularly scheduled hours per week.
Wage DOE-LPN Range-$24.06 to $33.30 hourly and RN Range-$30.37 to $36.26 hourly.
A 3% raise is given at 6 months, 1 year, 1 ½ years and 2 years of employment and annually thereafter until an employee reaches the cap on the wage scale.
